Turbinate Reduction
The turbnates are scrolls of tissue in the side walls of the nose. Swelling of these turbinates is often responsible for nasal blockage. Turbinate reduction is carried out to reduce the size of enlarged turbinates and therby correct the problem of nasal blockage. These days this is best done using safe technology such as radiofrequency / COBLATION®.
